Disinfection & Sanitation:

Specialized Environmental handles all waste materials and contamination issues.  We provide services to suit various industries which can include containment, area disinfection and clean-up of hazardous, and non-hazardous areas and materials.

• Specialized Environmental's technicians clean, sanitize, and deodorize the affected area, by establishing the three remediation Zones 

1. This is where the majority of the work will take place, as it is the area that has been affected.
2. This is where the technicians put on personal protective equipment (PPE).
3. This is where the technicians store their equipment to avoid cross contamination.

• Specialized Environmental follows specific procedures to ensure the regulatory requirements of the Disinfection and Sanitation procedure are met correctly.

We complete an initial walk-through and OSHA-mandated employee-safety hazard assessment of the scene.

We use OSHA’s recommended cross-contamination protocol to control the affected area by securing and separating it from other parts of the structure.

We remove all visible traces of contaminated materials from the affected area. This is the most dangerous step of the remediation process.

After removal, we clean, disinfect, and deodorize affected surfaces using EPA-rated disinfectants.

Specialized Environmental follows a planning  guide to identify the risk levels at the workplace setting to determine any appropriate control measures to implement, to make sure the workplace is cleaned to the level of  sanitation.
